Woodcliff Hotel and Spa

Breakfast Cook:

The primary function of the breakfast cook is to prepare high quality food to order for guests based on established menu guidelines and sanitary standards. Must be albe to prepare Ala carte, boil, saute adn fry. Set up and break down of the line is a function of the job. Must be personable and courteous to all guests. Must be able to work in a high volume environment, create menu items and service both internal and external customers. Should be able to present hot and cold entrees, have good communication skills and be able to handle pressure while multitasking. Long hours standing required.

Buffet Attendant:

 The Buffet Attendant is responsible primarily for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the buffet area, assisting servers and other food and beverage staff as needed. Must have excellent guest relations and communication skills and be available to work a flexible schedule. Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Coffee Shop Attendant:

 This fast paced customer service role is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and beverages and at  times some food items to customers in a prompt, friendly, entusiastic, professional manner. Long hours spend standing required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occassionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Cosmetologist:

  Provides nail, hair and skin care treatment and be proficient at performing all hair services (color, highlights, haircuts, up-do's and finish, texture). Must be a team player with great customer service skills and should also enjoy working in a fast paced environment. New York State cosmetology license required. Long hours, many spent standing, sometimes required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force ocasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Dishwashing Steward:

Washes and stores properly all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small equipment for the department. Maintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner. Long hours sometimes required. Very heavy work, exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Greenskeeper:

The Greenskeeper, maintenance of the golf course grounds and all its amenities. To ensure the seamless operation between the Pro shop, golf memberes as well as hotel management. Long hours sometimes required. Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Guest Services Representative:

The Guest Services Representative is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and courteous check in and check out of guests, assisting with room reservations and handling of telephone calls, and for meeting many other guest needs during their stay. Also responsible for the collection of monies for services rendured during a guest stay and the smooth operation of the front office. Long hours, many spent standing, sometimes required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Health Club Attendant:

The Sports Club Desk Attendant is to provide friendly, effiecient registration and information to all guests, fellow employees, and visitors. Must be friendly and outgoing with all guests as well as able to explain/provide tours of the sports facilities and the equipment available; maintain up to date and working knowledge of all health club equipment as well as its daily cleaning; be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies; answer the telephone in a professional manner; and assist guests with any questions, directions to sports actificites, etc. Long hours, many spend standing, sometimes required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of forcce occassionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Line Cook:

The primary function of the line cook is to prepare high quality food to order for guests based on established menu guidelines and sanitary standards. Must be able to prepare Ala carte, broil, saute and fry. Set up and break down of the line is a function of the job. Must be able to work in high volume environment, create menu items and service both internal and external customers. Should be able to present hot and cold entrees, have good communication skills and be able to handle pressure while multitasking. Long hours standing required.

Massage Therapist:

Provide massages and body treatment services to Spa clients. Proficient in a variety of massage therapies such as Swedish, Sports, Aromatherapy, Thai, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Reiki. State issued license required. Certification in massage therapy required. The massage therapist is responsible for guest statisfaction in the spa by performing services that exceed guest expectations and maintaing property standards throughout all procedures. Guest safety is a priority before, during and after spa treatments. The therapist will maintain the cleanliness of the massage rooms in a professional manner at all times. Long hours, many spend standing, sometimes required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Night Auditor:

The night auditor is directly responsible for the prompt and efficient balancing of the day's transactions of the entire hotel. Check in and check out of guets and for meeting many other guest needs during their stay. The night auditor is also responsible for the colelction of monies for services rendured during a guest stay. The night auditor is responsible for the smooth operation of the front office, and for insuring that all standard operating procedures pertinent to the front office are followed. Long hours, many spend standing, sometimes required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

PM Restaurant Supervisor: 

The main function of this position is to serve food and beverages to restaurant guests. This role is responsible for pre-setting the restaurant, serving meal courses, maintaining any side work stations, clearing all tables during and after each meal, and storing equipment at the end of each shift in proper places. Must be able to courteiously handle all guest requuests and be available to work a flexible schedule. Must have the ability to remain standing for extensive periods fo time and to carry heavy trays of food. Long hours sometimes required. Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occassionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Room Service Server:

The Room Service Server prepared, delivers adn services guest orders. Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu and specials. Responsible for each guest check and coordinator of tables/tray pick-ups. Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP and other guest amenities. Complete all side duties as assigned. Organize room service area. Previous food and bevreage experience preferred. Long hours, many spent standing, sometimes required. Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Spa Coordinator: 

 Provides information and welcomes guests to the hotel's spa; coordinators all guest requests and reservations for specialspa arrangements or services, courteously and efficiently informs guests of spa services and features. Excellent guest relations' skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with guets and co-workers. Excellent telephone etiquette. Computer literate with a typing speed of at least 20 w.p.m. Detail-oriented, team player. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure. Long hours sometimes required. Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
